Aku World, a three-day immersive event at Art Basel in Miami, brought Micah Johnson's digital explorer Aku to life by blending virtual and physical elements. Highlights included an interactive helmet, immersive projections, hologram merch displays, and an NFT avatar creation room.
The event featured performances by Kehlani, AJ Mitchell, and Haleek Maul, along with panel discussions on NFTs and digital art. Guests also had exclusive access to the Minting Room, where they created and minted their own 4D-scanned avatar within the Aku universe.
